Here is the answer:
Yes. The CGDI official newly released an upgrade notice:
CGDI CG100X Programmer will add MQB 5C cluster mileage correction.

Need D1 adapter and remove capacitors.
It will support both 5A and 5C clusters soon!
But before upgrading, you can only correct mileage on VAG MQB 5A D70F34xx, D70F35xxx, and R7F7014xx dashboards. Working with the CG100X D1 Adapter, No soldering! No lift pin! Security decryption, stable operation! (Do not extend the wire harness of the D1 Adapter)

Tips to identify MQB 5C and 5A Cluster:
Locate the chip on the board and determine its silkscreen
If it starts with “EM” on the silkscreen, it is a 5A meter.
If it starts with “PCJ” on the silkscreen, it is a 5C meter.
