How to Install Yanhua Module 39 for Benz HU7 Mileage Correction?

Yanhua Module 39 comes with 2 interface boards, 1 MQB V2 Adapter and MB HU7 Instrument Module Emulator. For different Benz HU7 dashboards, need to select the corresponding interface board. Check the installation guide below carefully.

 

Mercedes-Benz HU7 Instrument Types:

R7F7015293 (A206, A223, A177)

R7F7015294 (A223)

How to Choose the Correct Interface Board?

BENZ-HU7-A R7F7015293 Interface Board:

For A206/A223 dashboards: Set DIP switch to A-end.

For A177 dashboards: Set DIP switch to C-end.

BENZ-HU7-B R7F7015294 Interface Board:

For A223 dashboards only.

Installation Steps for BENZ-HU7-A (R7F7015293)

Preparation Tools:

• Yanhua Mini ACDP2
• BENZ-HU7-A Interface Board
• MQB V2 Adapter
• 20-PIN Cable
• Target Dashboard Module (A206/A223/A177)

Steps:

1.Unlock the Interface Board:

Push the latch to the unlock position and align it with the instrument’s positioning pillars.

2.Configure DIP Switch:

For A206/A223: Set to A-end.

For A177: Set to C-end.

3.Align Positioning Holes:

Locate the correct D1–D4 holes on the meter.

4.Verify Test Points:

Confirm pin definitions before proceeding.

5.Secure the Interface Board:

Align D2 pins with instrument holes, press down firmly, and lock the PCB buckle.

6.Final Connection:

See the overall connection diagram for reference.

Note: Installation for A177 follows the same steps but requires DIP switch adjustment (Step 2 and Step 4).

Installation Steps for BENZ-HU7-B (R7F7015294)

Preparation Tools:

• Yanhua ACDP2
• BENZ-HU7-B Interface Board
• MQB V2 Adapter
• 20-PIN Cable
• A223 Dashboard Module

Steps:

1.Unlock and position the interface board (same as Step 1 above).

2.Align D1–D4 holes

3.Verify test points

4.Secure the board using D2 pins and lock the buckle

5.Confirm connections

Yanhua MB HU7 Instrument Module Emulator Installation

MB HU7 Emulator is used to prevent the black screen on the dashboard. It needs to be soldered on the car forever. (One car requires one emulator. Cannot be reused)

When to use MB HU7 Emulator?

1. Use the ACDP Module 39 function to correct the mileage of the Mercedes-Benz HU7 instrument module.
2. Weld the emulator in the HU7 instrument module as follows:

• Check wire colors (black, red, green, blue, white) for correct pinouts.
• Follow the overall connection diagram.
