Need to bind VVDI MLB Tool to the Xhorse Key Tool Plus
Method 1: Direct Connection
Use a Dual USB-C splitter cable to connect MLB Tool with VVDI Key Tool Plus
Need to supply power to both MLB device and MQB48 adapter
Menu path:
IMMO Programming>>VW>>Select by type>>MQB instrument immo system>>NEC35xx（Continental/VDO）>> Collect Key data.
The function requires network connection.
Method 2: Using file transfer
Use Xhorse MQB48 Adapter and MLB Tool to calculate MQB48 key data on PC, then transfer the saved file from the PC to the Xhorse VVDI Key Tool Plus Pad
Save the IMMO data. Then transfer file from PC to key tool plus (via USB or Xhorse iCloud data center).
Go to MQB48 menu in the Key Tool Plus, then load IMMO data to generate dealer key and learn key.
In conclusion:
Recommend to use method 2 for quicker processing.PC software calculation is much faster than Xhorse Key Tool Plus Pad.
