How to repair MG 11457239-01(TRW) TC22XX-16F (CAN FD) airbag ECU by OBDSTAR P50 Airbag Reset Tool?
It can be done in Bench mode with P004 Adapter and CAN-FD Adapter.
Preparation:
OBDSTAR P50 main unit
OBDSTAR P004 Adapter and Jumper
12V2A Charger
Main cable
MG 11457239-01 airbag ECU
Operation guide:
Select Crash Reset>> AIRBAG RESET>> IRBAG RESET V31.03
Input the part number 1145 in the search box to quickly find MG 11457239-01(TRW) TC22XX-16F
Tap “Start”
Select “BENCH” and “P004”
Check the wiring diagram and operation instruction

| A-Pin 11 | 12V (16) |
| A-Pin 3 | GND (4+5) |
| B-Pin 4 | CAN L (14) |
| B-Pin 3 | CAN H (6) |
Follow the Pinout diagram to connect OBDSTAR P004 Adapter and MG airbag ECU by OBDSTAR P004 Jumper, and then connect P004 Adapter, CANFD Adapter and P50 Airbag Reset Tool correctly, connect the 12V power supply to main cable as well.
After connection, turn on the P004 Adapter switch, and start to perform the available functions.
Read ECU Info:
Check if the part number in the system is the same as the original ECU
Read DTC:
Read a fault code- B1932:00-AF !!! FRONTAL DEPLOYMENT DATA RECORD!!!
Erase Crash:
Erase Crash and DTC successfully
Erase DTC:
Erase DTC again, the DTC has been cleared successfully
Finally, read DTC again, there is no fault code now.
OBDSTAR P50 reset MG 11457239-01 (CAN FD) airbag ECU perfectly.
