How to use OBDSTAR DC706 ECU Tool to read and write Mercedes-Benz SIM271DE ECM and ISM (Intelligent Servo Module) TCM on bench?
Accessories required:
OBDSTAR P004 Adapter and ECU Clone Jumper
Main OBD cable
12V power supply

Tips:
Before operation, supply the 12V power to DC706, and keep charging and communication throughout the whole progress. Ensure the internet connection is normal to perform the read and write operations.
Main steps:
STEP 1.Obtain ECU model
STEP 2.Connect OBDSTAR DC706 and Benz ECU
- Click Guide at the bottom left to check the best detection method
- Click Pinout to check the wiring diagram and follow it to connect P004 Adapterand Benz ECM/TCM via OBDSTAR P004 ECU Clone Jumper, and then connect with DC706 ECU Tool via main cable
STEP 3. Read and write Benz ECU
After connection, turn on the switch button on OBDSTAR P004 Adapter, and start to perform the read and write operations.
1.OBDSTAR DC706 Clone Benz SIM271DE ECM
Select ECU Flasher>> ECM>> ECM newest software (i.e.ECM V30.28)>> BRAND>> BENZ>> BENZ CONTINENTAL SIM271DE TC1796+ST95128 (BENCH)
Connect OBDSTAR P004 Adapter and P004 ECU Clone Jumper, Benz ECM, DC706 ECU Tool correctly
Click “Connect” to verify security and connect ECU according to the prompts
Read INT eeprom (ST95128) and INT flash (TC1796) separately, and save the corresponding data file
Connect DC706 to a new Benz SIM271DE ECM by using the above same connection method
Then load the corresponding external data (EEPROM & Flash) to write into the new ECM
The read and write operation are completed, click “Disconnect” to exit the system.
2.OBDSTAR DC706 Clone Benz ISM TCM
Select ECU Flasher>> TCM>> TCM newest software (i.e.TCM V30.14)>> BRAND>> BENZ>> BENZ ISM (Intelligent Servo Module)>> BENZ SIMENS/CONTINENTAL ISM (Intelligent Servo Module) ST10F269
Connect OBDSTAR P004 Adapter and P004 Jumper, Benz TCM, DC706 ECU Tool correctly
Click “Connect” to verify security and connect ECU according to the prompts
Read INT flash and save the data file after reading
Connect DC706 to a new Benz ISM TCM by using the above same connection method
Then load the corresponding external data INT Flash to write into the new TCM
The read and write operation are completed, disconnect ECU.
