Let's start this topic with a locksmith question "Xhorse Dolphin or Condor": Do people prefer Xhorse Dolphin or Condor automatic key cutter? I have a Dolphin XP005 and I see that the Condor is being updated, so I'm not sure if I should buy a new Dolphin XP005L with a screen or wait for a new condor. I want to order a key reader, but I didn't expect them to be difficult to get.
Generally speaking: Both are good, Xhorse Dolphin is smaller and lightweight, can carry out to do outdoor jobs.

Part 2. Xhorse Dolphin XP-007 VS Xhorse Dolphin XP-005
1). I did a 2010 Suzuki alto today with condor, hu133r kd blade worked perfect.
2). Decoded HU100 key today with Condor XC mini plus, sec e9 can not. Condor cut HU100 wrong, to wide track and too much to the left. Put in biting in sec e9, cut perfect key, but cannot decode.
3). Peugeot 107 is va6
Va2T on 107 up to 2013.
And I done one today. Decoded and cut perfectly.
Va6 decode by eye and enter manually on va2eh2 card.
I only see these on citroen DS and renaults in my day to day jobs really.
4). I decoded few of the older keys (HU64), so no problems there. Then took picture of the decoding and manually wrote the coding on HU64-3 and were no problems.
5). Dolphin and condor mini both use the same database
6). At first, Cant cut Volvo HU56R, always overcut…2.5 mm cutter….
First, I was told, "you must set cutting -0,35 and all ok.”

After cutting a key, that would not work, i calibrated the condor.
Cut a new key, shown in the picture.
Checked it with a caliper. Seems perfect.
But not opening the lock.
Org opens lock smooth.
Could it be the shoulder, shifting the blade of center?
Car is no longer in my shop, and this key, i send to customer.
what am I missing here, this key should work?!?
Reply: the hu64 has 3 types of the tip, the angles of those 3 types are different, the picture you put above is hu64-3, downside is hu64-2, you need to choose correct angel of it, the shoulder is of the blade will affect nothing about open the lock,

This is the first time experienced that this actually works.
This has always failed in some way earlier.
Not sure if there was some update, which did the trick.
This door lock was in very good condition. It was working really smoothly. Not adding any lubrication.

2). X-Horse Dolphin XP-005: just another automated key cutter, but it is really made to work on the roadside – a good choice
After the X6 I was really happy to have a machine what’s more compacter and smaller for the roadside work – but this small thing is a heavy opponent. At first it is heavy because the batteries are built in into the machine, it can cut up to 10 keys without recharging – when you have no troubles with his bit.ch…
It operates from Smartphone or tablet or KeyTool Max as usual @ X-Horse, you can use the same VVDI app. The connection was made through Bluetooth as usual. The main problem with the machine is the hit & miss system that;s built in as factory feature. Sometimes it won’t work. Recalibrate the clamp, cutter calibration and such jokes are coming continuously, but it won’t cut da damn key. In these cases just switch the app to expert mode, and retry. Usually it helps, but when not then you have to do all the calibrations what’s needed. This is impossible without a HON66 blade. If you try to do the calibration with another one, you will get a really bad result. For example: if you do the calibrations with a GT10 key, then you can decode the same blank key only for 3333333 instead of 1111111. To avoid this I’ve put a HON66 blade and a small hex into the collecting tray. I understand that the HON66 is the broadest available key blade, but why is it necessary to use only that one – neither the Mirace or the X6 does such jokes. Another problem is the bad keyway cutting when you cut an inner groove key. If you cut a VA2 or VA6 blade it makes such a bluff cut, that you can put the key in into the keyhole, but it is very difficult to pull it out. It happens often when it decodes something that the machine breaks the probe without any reason, but next time (with the new probe) it decodes the key perfectly.
However, this machine is good enough to buy one, but only for second one – you can’t trust it so much as an X6 for example.
The price is around 2000 USD with the basic accessories.
